Immediately, this thing left my body. I got up praising God. I hunted for those believers, and became involved in their fellowship. My next year went by so quickly, cause I was actually having fun as a christian. When I left, part of me stayed there with these brothers and sisters in Christ.
I have been retired for six years, and am currently the internet ministry leader in my local church.
God knows where you are, when you call upon his name, believing that He has heard you, and asking for anything, expecting to receive, God will give it to you.
As a child of the King, you have an inheritance that the world cannot take away.
I urge you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and ask him to forgive you, to bring you into the family of God, and guide you thru whatever is ahead.
May God richly bless you.
I had been raised in the church as a young man. I went away to the Army, not following the teachings, but always trying to do good. When I turned 40, in a sort of isolation from my family and friends I came to know God in a personal way.
I was six weeks out from being able to submit my retirement papers, when I got levied for overseas assigmment to Japan. It was a two year unaccompanied tour. I went to Japan angry because I didn't want to be there. I heard about a non denominational group of believers, but chose to avoid them for 8 months.
One day I was lying on my bunk (saturday afternoon), suddenly something came over my body, making me immobile. I could not move my body at all. I had this feeling that whatever it was, was not of God. Then only thing I could do was cry out to!
Jesus (mentally, as I could not speak). My mind was clear, and my instinct was to call out to God.
